Abre el Starbucks de Plaza 404

Nos hacen llegar los primeros reportes de los aventurados que decidieron ser de los primeros en comprarse un café premium en el Starbucks de plaza 404, en Gomez Morín.
Nos dicen, que como sucedió en los paises socialistas que abrían sus puertas a las primeras franquicias occidentales, la fila se extienda hasta las afueras del lugar, el cual carece de drive-thru (lo que ha de agradecer Policía y Tránsito de San Pedro).
Algunos de plano, se pasaron de largo al ver tanto gentío. Otros, que optaron por hacer el lento peregrinaje con tal de decir "yo ya fui" nos comentan que, en estos momentos, el lugar esta invadido por prepos.

A long time a go, getting a cup of coffee at Starbucks was great; good coffee, good atmosphere, good installations, interesting people, personalized attention, nice seats and decoration. Now getting a cup of coffee at Starbucks is vulgar. No more good coffee so much people, trivial conversations, mechanized “personal attention”. Clone by clone every Starbucks is the same decadent scene. Sadly I say good bye to and old friend called Starbucks. Now I’m in searching of new options, a fresh coffee shop that gives good coffee and good atmosphere. Some ideas?

Im fan of coffeshops and like to visit each everyone i see.
Joe Flumerfelt, born canadian and 6 years of adopting the regioway of life, couldnt just helped to jump around when he found out about the starcbucks. Wisely we planned to wait minimum a month after the opening before even trying to get near starbucks, for we knew it will be filled up with curious people preps and "posers" ?
Sure fancy mixes are cool, but the reason to go to a coffeshop such as starbucks is to have a chill time, nice conversation, its more about the atmosphere rather than the coffe...
It has completly lost the sense of going to starbucks when all you can find its a swarm of noise preps just wanting to hang out at the "new place" as if it was any other club in monterrey, where its cool only because its new...
im sure we can start a coffeshop review at this blog's section. you can always try the classics of barrio antiguo, you can find some good instalations all around san pedro, but their pretty noisy and you wont find the kind of place your looking for.
Sometimes i like to go to Urban in centrito, but its usually a little bit crowded, its ok no propietary wifi but neighboors usually have some open networks. near galerias monterrey you can visit Buzz cafe, just besides sport city (free wifi).
so, come one lets start up this coffeshop review.
Since years ago the art of siping coffee at starbuck's was no longer fun. Perhaps, what matters is that coffee shops are no longer cozy, special places as they used to be a few years ago. It really becomes a challenge to lead a business that just focuses on money money money and wants to survive for ever.
I suspect that people who will visit the starbuck's in Monterrey are probably money freaks who believe that buying a cup of coffee there will make them look good. It is like smoking, people smoke because they think it makes them look good. Thus, this can become a dangerous addiction. Think about it in SB coffee terms, who wants to pay that amount of money for a coffee?!! Besides, the coffee in Mexico is quite good, especially the Oaxaca Pluma that can be found at any grocery shop.
para mi starbucks es lo mejor!! soy fan de ese lugar ya k no eh probado cafe mas rico que el de ahi me encanta k hay mucha variedad y tipos de cafes que ofrecen, y esta super padre que este aqui en monterrey ya que para probar un starbucks antes era nada mas en estados unidos y asi y pues ahora ya lo tenemos aqui y esta super nien le ah quitado clientela al italian coffee y otros cafes que ya tienen aqui mucho tiempo asi que yo creo que no soy la unica que opina igual acerca del starbucks ya que siempre estan llenos vayas al que vayas aqui en monterrey y para mi el servicio es rapido porque en otros cafes se tardan mucho para darte un cafe y en starbucks no eso es algo que para mi es muy imoprtante.
starbuck es lo mejor.. unicamente tengo una sola queja!! cuando pides un cofee light te lo dan con puro hielo y lleno de espuma de la licuadora o de la maquina.. no see! alguien sabe una pagina donde les pueda hacer llegar esta queja?? muchas gracias.. ciaooo!
la verdad eske en efecto, stabucks fue una muy buena opcion para los que buskaban cafes y frapps de manera diferete, pero estoy de acuerdo con los primeros post en el punto de vista de que, se supone que cuando alguien va a un cafe es porke se kieren pasar un buen rato con amigos o familia...yo por mi cuenta me considero un fan de starbucks, dado que siempre que se da la oportunidad, mis amigos de la faku vamos por uno, pero no solo es ir por un cafe..sino que tambien es para ir a bromear, platikar, o simplemente deskansar...

El starbucks localizado en Valle Oriente es muy malo, dos veces he comprado cafe ahi. La primera vez pedi un venti y incluido en el vaso estaba un hielo grandisimo...wuakala!! la segunda vez que fui la leche estaba echada a perder!!...Amo Starbucks...pero el de valle oriente no.
